Our principals, Raymond Caliendo and Mark Searage, lead a staff pf 15 architects, designers, planners and business personnel. We take a teamwork approach to all of our assignments. Our principals remain actively involved in all phases of design and production and act as the primary client contacts.

Raymond J. Caliendo, R.A.

Mr. Caliendo is the Managing Director of Art-Of-Form Architecture and Chief Coordinator of all firm activities. He is the primary client liaison and acts as the Architect of Record for all New York State and City projects.

Mr. Caliendo’s background includes all phases of architectural, structural, interior and site design. His duties normally include client contact, meetings and presentations, investigations and analysis, conceptual design, field observation and quality assurance. As a result, Mr. Caliendo sees the project through from beginning to end. He is also the primary Director of all construction administration and management activities.

Mr. Caliendo is a Registered Architect and has an extensive background in many diverse building prototypes. His experience in building design includes industrial, commercial (office and retail design), food service and restaurant design, medical/healthcare and residential design. He is also proficient at structural engineering design and specializes in building code analysis.

Mark A. Searage, R.A.

Mr. Searage is the Director of Design and Production for Art-Of-Form Architecture. Due to his extensive background in building design and technology he is the primary designer of all architectural features for both new construction and renovation work. He is also charged with selecting the particular building systems for the project as a function of the project program, municipal requirements and aesthetic intent. Mr. Searage also acts as Coordinator for all production personnel.

Mr. Searage’s background includes all phases of architectural, interior and site design. His duties normally include meetings, investigations and analyses, conceptual through final design, supervision and coordination of contract document preparation and field observations. Mark is responsible for conceiving the initial design, conducting the appropriate research and then assembling the project team responsible for conceiving the initial design, conducting the appropriate research and then assembling the project team responsible for production of contract documents.

Mr. Searage is a Registered Architect with an especially heavy concentration of experience in the design of commercial and industrial facilities. The commercial facilities have consisted mostly of office buildings, retail shopping centers and movie theatres. He is well versed with a variety of construction materials and assembly types and is an expert at selecting the appropriate systems for the particular building type.
